Our winery SANGENIS I VAQUE , D.O.Q. PRIORAT wine producers, would like to
inform you that our wine Clos Monlleo’ 2000 has obtained some very good criticals
in the UK press: In the wine magazine Decanter (April 2004) was
on the TOP TEN SPANISH WINES . In the Wine Report 2005 by Tom Stevenson
Clos Monlleo’ 2000 was the 1st GREATEST QUALITY WINE among the Spanish wines
and our winery was the first new up-and-coming producers.
John Radford, wine journalist and specialist in Spanish wines says in his
book The New Spain (new edition – Mitchael Beazley) “(…)Clos Monlleo got
my joint highest mark of all the wines of Spain in the tasting we undertook
for this book.”
