THE ORIGIN OF OUR WINE

Soils & climate

To produce the best grapes, it’s necessary to have the best soils and these are exactly what we have: soils dense with slate (llicorella), highly permeable, and oriented to the south.

The influence of the marine breeze (known as the garbinada) reduces the heat in the summer so that the grapes can photosynthese effeciently.

Maintaining the organic material in the soil is done naturally using manure
(from sheep) that contributes to the vines being able to avoid water stress in the summer as the ground is able to maintain humidity. We work all our vineyards organically.
